Get to know Sevan Weir

Sevan Weir is the Co-Founder of Mental Golf Type LLC.

With over 18 years of work experience, Sevan has a strong background in business, finance, technology and typology.

She had certification in CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP), and licenses in Series 7, 63 and 65. Currently, she maintains certification in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children® (MMTIC®), a self-report assessment developed to measure children's psychological type preferences.  

Prior to Mental Golf Type, Sevan also was the co-founder and performance solutions consultant at CYURU LLC, a consulting company that provides comprehensive analysis that assists in increasing effectiveness and efficiencies of C-level and above personnel.  She successfully worked with clients from various industries and sectors, such as finance, manufacturing, and technology, and delivered customized solutions that enhanced their leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

As Co-Founder and a creative contributor of Mental Golf Type, her mission is to help golfers achieve their optimal performance by leveraging their innate mental hardwiring. Sevan values innovation, collaboration, diversity, and and enjoys working with a team of experts who share the same vision and mission of empowering all golfers to achieve their goals.  She brings multicultural perspective and experience to the team as she speaks Armenian, Arabic, and Turkish.

Since the inception of Mental Golf Academy, currently Mental Golf Type LLC, her role has been technology solutions strategist and business operation.  In 2023, Sevan facilitated the translation of the MGT site to the Italian language with the help of Guilia Sergas, former LPGA Tour player.  Just recently she completed the process of launching Mental Golf Type on app platforms in order for golfers have easy access to their lessons at any time, especially on the golf course.
